It's a rainy 4th of July
Posted on July 04, 2013 at 18:27

So I had wicked plans of going to the river and eating BBQ and watching fireworks but then the entire state of Alabama got rained out... so that all got cancelled.

So I've been stuck at home all day watching old movies and whatnot, and upong getting on Facebook I noticed something I had never noticed before... that the general population of humans in America are absolute freaking morons. Case in point:

I lol'd until I realized how sad that was.

But that's pretty much all I got. For the nostalgic crowd here I'm getting on Sapphire Tears with a few old 64Ders tonight if anyone wants in.

Anyone here dabble with MATLAB?
Posted on January 24, 2013 at 00:01

We use MATLAB a lot in my Engineering studies, but as far as programming goes the thing is just a glorified calculator on steroids. I've heard of people actually making playable games and even executables using it, and I immediately wondered if anyone in the wonderful land of 64D ever tried anything like it. I know the syntax in MATLAB is incredibly similar to C++ so it wouldn't be all that difficult in theory.

But anyway, to make this more like a blog. I'm almost halfway through Mechanical Engineering studies and MATLAB + AutoCAD/Solidworks for 3D modelling is definitely the most fun I have in any of my classes. I really do think using GM as a young teenager really helped my ability to jump right into programming in any language and become proficient immediately after learning the syntax. The algorithm building crap is just learned after repeated trial and error, so I owe Mark Overmars a little credit once I eventually get done with school. I've pulled a nice 3.93 GPA too, so life is going pretty smooth.

Finally, word on the street is that 64D people are sexier then your average Joe Schmoe. I think I can confirm. Good work guys.

I have 50 member points, what do I win?

I'd like to exchange them for a plate of pristine chocolate chip cookies. Should this be a problem a plate of Macadamia nut cookies will suffice.

For real though, this website looks completely different than I remember it. Very, very nice. Except for the fact that Arcalyth took away my Arcabadge because he's a racist bastard. Other than that, good stuff.

For programming news..... uh.... I got an A in my MATLAB course last semester. Thought it was hilariously easy while others struggled endlessly. I guess that's what a little programming through high school will do for you.

That's all I got, stay cool my friends.

The Life of a Guy
Posted on December 26, 2011 at 13:13

I have been repeatedly pressed by a certain member of this website to return and post a blog. Being the generous spirit I am, I decided to yield to this request and post a single blog and update all of you poor bast...er, upstanding people, on the makings of my life to this point.

Well, I've long since ceased my dabbling in programming. Getting a job and focusing on school really took me away from even caring about what was simply a hobby to pass the time. I returned to programming only for the sake of making a nice Christmas present for my girlfriend a few weeks ago, but that wasn't some extensive project and really was not much more than a series of particle effects to go along with sentimental messages.

In my time away from this site, I made the transition to college. I'm currently attending Auburn University, if any of you have heard of it, it has a fairly renowned Engineering department, and my current major is Mechanical Engineering. I'm on full scholarship, must keep a 3.0 GPA to keep it, but so far I don't see that being much of a problem.

Christmas treated me well, hope it did the same for all of you if you chose to celebrate it. I've felt the yuletide spirit flow through me the past few days, just spending time with my family and preparing to take a trip to see my girlfriend and her family in a few days. I'm in a very relaxed, "chestnut roasting by an open fire" kind of a mood.

Well there you go, hope all of you I actually know have had a good life the past few years, and have success in your future endeavors.

WTF is Minecraft?

It's schooltime once again.

AP English
Medical Anatomy

Am I missing something?

This is a classic example of an optical illusion, in which you allegedly can trick your brain into shifting the woman from rotating clockwise to counterclockwise back to clockwise. Problem is, I can't do it. Anyone care to enlighten me on what the trick is? I feel like the esteemed 64Digits can assist me with this plight.

Also, lol it shows her nipples.

iPod iOS 4.0/ Request for 64D app
Posted on July 20, 2010 at 12:44

iOS 4.0 on a 3G model is the biggest fail that ever failed. The immense level of suckage cannot adequately be surmised by just a few lines of text. I can't even use my iPod anymore. This is just one of their ploys to make me buy the new iPhone. But the thing is, everything new on 4.0 could easily be attained via jailbreak apps on 3.1.2. Damn commie bastards...

h8 Apple

Yeah, this is just me venting. So how are you guys doing?

Oh, and to KaBob, I expect a 64Digits iPod app out. Or at least a mobile version of this site. Make it happen.

Sup

Don't know if you guys remember me. Been a while.

'sup.

Oh, and someone is going to have to give me a synopsis on the activities of this place over the last year or so.
