(Intro) Who, Me?

Me ^-^

Yesh, me.

Me me me.

This is my blog, my intro, and because of this, it's going to be all about me.

Who is me? I'm Dan. But you should call me Blink. I come from the far off planet know as "GMC", where I sit and get a sun tan from the pointless flames being thrown around, often getting scorched when one comes too close. I don't have much of a good reputation there, nor will I here, so don't worry about remembering much of anything I say in the next paragraph, because it won't be too important anyway.

I'm 15, I live in Canada, but I'm English. My mom died when I was 5, and my Dad gave up on me when I was 9. Getting new friends is the easiest thing for me, but keeping them is practically impossible. However, after at least an hour of Polystyrene Man begging me to come here, for whatever reason, I gave up, and here I am. I can't sprite, I can't write music, and I can't voice act. All I can do is program, and honestly, I'm not the best at that either.

On to the important stuff. I will be posting at least 1 example a week, maybe more. If I don't, I'm sure someone will kindly send me a pm reminding me. Chances are I'll run out of ideas, so keep pm's coming if you ever get a question or an idea for an example. Also, I do a lot of engines and programs, and very few games, so don't expect much along the lines of "how to I make an isometric game" tutorials. Expect level editor tutorials, things like dat.

If you happen to be a poser who read up to this far, congratulations. You still suck, just a lot less than the other posers. A poser, by definition (my definition) is someone who acts like someone they are not. For example, this kid in my art class, Sean, lived in England for a year and a half. He comes back, and everyone foolishly believes he is a cocky, loud mouthed English person. This isn't true. In fact, it's quit the opposite. Cocky people require quick thinking, and British people have some respect for other people. Sean is, in fact, a prick. In fact, Sean is a poser. Don't be one.

Last but not least, thanks for reading this blog. It isn't much, 'cause apparently, I'm a pretty deep guy. ( If you've ever seen the Matrix trilogy, then you should love what I'm about to say.. )

"It just depends how far down the rabbit hole you are willing to go." - Morpheus

Of course, I don't like the Matrix all too much. First one was good tho..

Oh, hi.

The matrix is cool, my username is based on it, skate the matrix.

If you want to do a tutorial, do an instant bullets one, 64d needs one and I'm too lazy to make it myself.

Poly is cool, you may be cool, that is debatable. I will see.

I'm sure you'll be just fine

Ah. I knew you're username had to do with the Matrix, but I thought you were referring to yourself as Cypher, that cold, treacherous guy (Skate > Steak > Cypher).

Only kidding of course =p

So yeah, I did the instant bullets thing..

Apparently it can take a week to get an example accepted, so until then, I hosted it on my (uncomplete) site www.dannydot.com/BlinkSpeed.gm6 ^-^
