So… to follow the trend that I was unaware of:

Age

Then: 10

Now: 15

Trend: I'm growing older as the years pass by.

Music

Then: Mostly Classical Music (Baroque, Romantic, Classical, etc.), Jazz, and some old rock.

Now: Just about anything, minus modern mainstream music, rap, hip hop, and modern country. Yes, Be Bop Deluxe, ELP, ELo, Asia, Genesis, PATD, Dungen, etc, etc.

Trend: Slowly but surely heading towards the 21st century, decade by decade.

Then: Star Trek!

Now: Haven't watched a TV in months!

Trend: Umm… no TV?

Movies

Then: Very little.

Now: Just about any movie that I end up seeing.

Trend: I'm seeing more, now?

Hobbies

Then: LEGOs, Reading, BASIC (the horror!), and computers in general

Now: Music (Playing various instruments, songwriting, composing, attempts at building instruments…)

Trend: Shifting from Technology and Toys to Music and Music

Social Life

Then: Depressed due to a lack ofa social life.

Now: Finally, thanks to orchestra, have agroup of friends whom I get along with very well and hang out with.

Trend: Spreading my social butterfly wings!!! (please, shoot me for that)

Internet

Then: Random Browsing

Now: Tons of music forums… ukulele-specific, cello-specific, composing-specific, music theory -specific… Facebook, and Myspace

Trend: Communities

Sport

Then: Martial Arts

Now: Backpacking?

Trend: Still nothing all too special

Outlook On Life

Then: Utterly pessimistic

Now: Somewhat optimistic, though mostly realist

Trend: I'm happier.

Politics

Then: Uninformed Republican

Now: Well-informed Democrat

Trend: Left?

And building instruments…. let's see.

I've experimented for a while with building electronic instruments (I successfully built a mini-synth, though it ran out of batteries and I discovered that I, in my infinite wisdom, sealed the battery chamber completely when I was building it… oops), and am now starting to take on buildign an electric cello, which will probably overwhelm me… but hey, it's something to do over the summer.

Well… five years ago, I had not went into middle school or high school yet, and I didn't get along with many of the people whom went to my elementary school. Therefore, I had few friends at that time, which led to minor depression, etc.

But now, I've met tons more people, made many friends, and am, in general, happy.
