Cyanide

Said I'd be back with more 'arts' last time, didn't I? Here are a few things I've done since the last time.

Let's start with the star of the day. Staying with the theme I started with Batman and Joker, this is my design of what Scarecrow would look like around the 1800s.

Here is the finished Batman.

And my ex / good friend did a colored version that I found amazing.

I also have more doodles I'm due for uploading, but I have to scan them in, and you all know how scanners can be. That being said, I'll have them up some time today.

Until then, here's a mask I made wayyyyy earlier this month.

And some news on how the operation on my poor ol' laptop turned out.

Long story short, I ordered a new CPU fan off Ebay. I took a BIG FUCKING RISK because last time I ordered something off Ebay I got ripped off of 10 bucks, never got my money back, never got my item either, and the user's profile disappeared, but it was the only place I could find the model of fan that I needed.

So yea, thankfully I got the fan, popped the thing open in record time, pulled out the dead fan, put the new one in, closed everything back up, and booted the system.

Temperatures under max load on both the GPU and CPU have a hard time seeing 70C now and I am quite satisfied.

Righto, signing off for now.

Stay spooky, my friends.

The other doodles:::

These ones are for a calender assignment for my type and layout class.

I'm doing a comic-style calender with a character or two representing each 1 or 2 months.

This guy is April.

And this is December.

I got a loooot of work to do :/

Wow, what a cool concept for the batman universe! These look like they were peeled right out of a published graphic novel man. Your friend did an excellent job coloring the batman as well, the shading blends perfectly with the inked lines, and all in all it looks very professional. Looking at these inspires the question of what kind of gadgets 19th century batman would use, and also what his ride would be like. I also wonder how many damsels he would save from being tied to a railroad track :P

Anywho, I can't wait to see the rest of the doodles… keep em coming!

Interesting Scarecrow.

I wonder if he "shares" needles between victims.

@Steven: Thank you.

@Aeron: Haha, thanks. To be honest, most of my current style is influenced heavily by Greg Capullo and McFarlane, but that's just a given since I grew up a massive fan of Spawn, and still am. Batman just has a lot of cool characters I can take in a bunch of different directions though, so I figured I'd give that time period a swing, see what I can come up with.

I have a feeling he'd be riding a badass horse or something, haha. The… Batmohorse? lolidunno.

@Juurian: Yknow what, I was going to add a few extra needles on the side of his waist, but I figured it was more sinister if he just had one craggy refillable needle… and it was more work, lol.

Just uploaded the other doodles I was talking about.

Great drawings as always, I like the bunny guy because he has a cool pose and is a bit different from your usual style.

Buyer Protection didn't resolve the issue? I ordered a PS Vita for $38.99 from a Chinese seller, and got my money back. The guy got banned, too.

eBay seems to change their refunding policy according to astrology. I suppose it keeps the fraudsters guessing?

Don't be superstitious, there's a considerable chance of being frauded on eBay, but it's certainly less than 1% even if you've been unlucky enough for it to happen to you before. UNLESS you ignore the tell-tale signs of an illegitimate account, then the probability increases quite a lot.

I'm definitely being superstitious, but I've just never liked or trusted Ebay. Even the most trusted vendors seem super sketchy to me for some reason. I prefer to order everything off of Amazon if I can, even though the same risks exist there too… I just don't have the same bad taste in my mouth about Amazon as I do with Ebay, lol.
