I think I mentioned before about how i started a band with some friends. It's called Lockout. This isn't a debate over a name. I know from experience how many of you would want to have that changed (really I do lol).We've had a quite a few jams and we finally got a set time each week and things are going great. We're finally starting to move out of only covers and into out own material. We're planning on winning our high school's Battle of the Bands and our first "gig" I guess might be playing at the 30 Hour Famine fundraiser later on this year.Mostly just quick updates above. Now, help. I just need a bit of feedback on what little we have recorded. We left out the bridge and there was some noodling going on. No singing, except for a bystander in the background that shouldn't be singing. Also way too fast. My solo.It was the first time we'd played Gone Away that time. We just decided to wing it and record something else after our other guitarist left and this is what we got. No singing and loaded with istakes, I know. Only me on guitar.And Dirty Magic's our main cover right now. We play it whenever we get together and it's the only song with actual, intentional singing. We're having some serious problem singer wise and just decided to have us all try singing. This is just one of them. I know the singing's bad lol. Me playing the rhythm riff. No solo for me. The guy who does it was "in the moment" and stood up without a guitar strap to try and solo it. Butchered it bad lol.PLEASE IF YOU DIDN'T READ THAT, AT LEAST LISTEN TO THESE AND GIMME SOME CONSTRUCTIVE FEEDBACK. We're still a WIP.LINK HEREPlay Guitar Hero 2. On 360 if at all possible. Edit: Just listened to the recordings. I have to say, you guys have potential but get a better mike/recording equip. Dirty Magic is by far the bestDo you have a Fender? Do you actually play guitar? Coz a Fender is tha best. Can't afford them though, so I bought a cort.
