So, I've been talking to Ethelon lately. We've been doing a lot of the design aspect and within a little over a week we'll be doing a lot of heavy and rapid development of the Game Maker prototype version. That's right, we won't be doing the entire game in GM! But as to what we're doing after that will be a secret.
The basic premise of the game is to build your own little base and then fight in those created levels! I did write a neat file format too. A standard large map was less than 900 bytes of data. Talk about efficient!I'm also working on a Sonic fangame entitled Nick the Hedgehog. It's heavily story driven, but that won't take away from the gameplay. I plan on writing my own 360 degree engine (I have some theory in my head), and I think I'll be able to pull it off. I'll show screens of my progress in a few weeks (I'm a college student :/)So yea, hope you guys are getting pumped for BnB and NtH!
You're new here, aren't you? Because most of us probably have no clue what sort of game you're working on and you've made no real introduction.
Anyway - Ethelon sounds nice, good luck putting those technical solutions into reality and all.Heh, Gamr doesn't really hang around 64D, I just told him I blogged about BnB here.
Cesque, he's talking about this:http://64digits.com/users/index.php?userid=Ethelon&cmd=comments&id=269074I know exactly what bnb and nth are
