Project Nergal is a side scrolling platform shooter that I have been working on for a few weeks off and on. THe game takes place on Mars, you are a sentient probe given the task of placing beacons so that microwave arrays that melt the ice caps to help terraform the planet. On a standard mission you discover a slime-like craeture, it attaches to you and pleads to your AI to get you to stop the array bombardment to save the different types of slime or destroy them and make the planet inhabitable for humans. I am using the Radnom Games platform shooter engine(PM me If you know a way to fix the jumping glitch in the engine) I would like to know your thoughts on this concept.
