I'm relativity new here, but I was recommended by a Purianite (has won a few contests here for his game(s) Little Witch Sayuri-chan and Kizuna - The Girl Who Saved Christmas). We're a small game development studio made up of all volunteers who currently have a few different products in development. Our flagship title is Shock Cocoon, a visual novel using the RenPY engine.
We're looking for a graphic designer/artist to join our team to help with (A) logo design and (B) user interface design for the Shock Cocoon project.We are aiming for commercial release quality, even though our title will be a free release. If you are a talented designer looking to expand your portfolio, we would love to have you join us. Contact information: studionihi@gmail.comhttp://www.studio-nihi.com
Oh, I knew I recognized that name. Mistook you for an old user, so I guess that means I should idle on IRC a bit more often.
Correction: Only Kizuna won 2nd place in the winter contest. Sayuri was 5th out of 17, and I was only one place off from getting a prize. ;_;
But good luck finding someone.@Purianite You're always a winner in my book Amaran.
<3 I'm glad.
I find it a bit strange that although you got a few people already doing graphical stuff (and are pretty good at it, judging from the gameplay trailer), you still need people for the UI and logo. I'd figure that the graphics people you already have are perfectly capable of doing it. Anyhow, I feel somewhat addressed, since I like making UIs and logos, but I am not sure if I am suited for UI and logo design for visual novels…
trap!front, they just wanted to show off. :P@sir Xemic Our original graphic designer (who's work you see in the video) has been missing for months. We fear the worst; he (kyonko_) may have passed away. I've been trying to contact him for two months now with no success.
;_;That's good Xemic, because I recommended you as a logo/UI artist.
Wow, great graphics for an indie game.
That's kind of scary about kyonko_. I recommend xemic too.Also, a lot of time it seems like modelers (well, at least the ones I know) aren't very creative when it comes to logos and stuff, and UI requires a certain way of thinking to make a good one (depending on what goes in it, of course)Why does everyone recommend me? What did I do to make you think I am good at UI and logo design? :3
