I've never Figured this out

How would I go about making my game have a dynamic frame rate? What I mean by that is that when the fps go from about 60 to 40 or something, the speed and timing of the objects stays the same?

This has bugged me for the longest time, and I have experimented with it, but I can never get it to work.

How would you guys do it? Is it even possible in Game Maker?

I really want to implement this in Time War, but that's going to require another complete restart…

Well, at least Time War Version 0.5.0 will be the best one yet right?

delta timing won't require a complete restart. I implemented it into my game completely and I had over 200 objects and 20 scripts. It took me about 2 days to fully complete. It should take you much less time.
