Is anyone interested in anything like this? 1.2 looks like it's going to be an incredibly huge update to the game, and I think it'd be awesome if we had a marathon like we do with Minecraft.

New characters, fresh world. What do you guys think?

I preordered the shit out of Starbound, and I'd love to join in on the 1.2 marathon should it ever come out, but I do suggest we all start off with new characters or else we'll have 100HP/Copper shortsword players with 400HP/Legendary Excalibur, and that sucks.

Good news: I have that much money to spare.

I remember last marathon, when about 15 of us went to fight the Wall of Flesh, expecting it to be a tough boss. We killed it in 5 seconds.

I was so worried for that fight, and then it was so fast I don't think I even got a hit in.

That's okay, I spawned 200 Skeletron Primes the other day and I'll admit it was a little bit of a challenge.

Still, the fight only lasted five seconds at most.

The only bosses worth having more than one person are the hardmode bosses, and I just raped two of them (Destroyer and The Twins) earlier today by myself haha.

I had a legendary crystal storm, which if used correctly, could allow me to kill the wall of flesh in a few seconds on my own.
