One of the first games to be played by my child hands, and one that certainly left quite an impression:
Put countless hours into both Gold and Silver. So good. And naturally, I enjoyed the Stadium games for N64.
Surprising that today I'm more of a fan of realistic racing games, since I started off with such a silly and very unrealistic racing game. I didn't really enjoy the gameplay of it though, mostly just the silly tracks. Then next-gen happened and I got an Xbox:
These two games came with my Xbox, and they were both fantastic. JSRF was just cool. The music, the cel-shaded graphics, the gameplay. It was the definition of awesome.Sega GT 2002 is the first game to turn me on to more realistic racing games. The physics don't hold up to the likes of Forza or Gran Turismo, but the game was very fun and seemed extremely realistic at the time.At the tender age of 12, I was sodomized by my first PS2 game, Silent Hill 2:
the first silent hill, despite it's outdated-ness, is still the freakiest and most abstract of all the silent hill titles. one of my favorite games..
Jet Grind Radio was the fking best blading game…actually, I think it still is.
I have a hard time getting past the dated graphics of the first Silent Hill. The beautiful graphics of SH2-4 is part of their appeal. Silent Hill's graphics are too blocky to really convey the same style to me.
I love the graphics of Silent Hill. PS1 games almost have a surreal style to them that I enjoy.
You mean super super choppy textures, right? Lol, love it.
Pharaoh (PC), Simcity 3000 (PC), Pokemon (1st, 2nd and 3rd gen)
I didn't play games as a kid, I smoked meth and beat up hookers.
