I'd totally recommend giving this a… read, really. I'm not really much of a VN guy, but I really enjoyed this, even if the internet-lingo was a bit heavy sometimes.

On a further note - anybody who *is* a VN guy care to recommend some?

I liked the Clannad anime a lot, maybe try the Clannad VN?

Oh and that would be a VN of Japanese origin… Those tend to be rather long and require you to complete dozens of routes and use tons of check points, but yeah…

I tried it myself but after playing it for half an hour I realized I don't like VNs and stopped playing

You like Clannad, Xemic? I thought I was one of the few. It's a great show.

And I've been thinking about checking out a VN, because I like stories and characters over gameplay a lot of the times. But the idea of "playing" a "game" that is actually 99% story doesn't sound all that fun (hell, I'll just watch the show), and I'm too lazy to go look for translation patches. If one exists for the Clannad VNs, then I'll give it a go.

Oh, yes I did forget. It's been quite a while. But on that note, I never found anything about the Touhou movie. =(

I saw news on it, but nothing about its release, and it's been almost six months after it was supposed to show. Surely there's a sub or something? Or did it just never make it?

Yeah me neither. It doesn't say it got cancelled or anything anywhere. I also wonder what happened…

And I am not sure if it was a movie or an OVA or whatever. It's called the Anime Tenshou x Touhou project.

You didn't respond to my recommendation. What do you think? Or are you more into indie VN's? :P

You need to play Digital: A Love Story, if you haven't already. It's by the same author and it's really cool, or at least I thought so.
