The Misconceptions of a homschooler: An essay addressing the common misunderstandings perpetuated by the public and falsifying the said misconceptions that may cloud one's view of the common homeschooled teen.
Ok, I won't really write and essay, but I thought it would be fun to clear up some things about homeschoolers that may be misunderstood. First off I'd like to say that I never have worn my pajamas while doing school. I could if I wanted to, but it seems pointless and unnecessary. Second, I always finish my school for the day BEFORE I do anything else (like work on my games, play my dad's XBOX, etc.). Third, my school is no easier than any other teen's school. The reason I can finish before lunch is that I am doing the public-schooler's equivelant of homework and I don't sit in classes all day.(Not that there's anything wrong with that.) Number four: I don't sleep in. I could, but then I wouldn't finish school before lunch and would lose most of the day. Fifth, homeschoolers are not anti-social. We do a lot of things throughout the week that involve being around other people. That is all I will say, because I don't want to make anyone mad by saying stuff like: "We're all smarter than you!" or "Public-schoolers are bad people!" because that is definitely not true. I know some publicly schooled people, and they're really cool. The End. Rollo Update I worked mainly on the menus since my last blog, so little has changed, but I would like to get your input. First, I would like some suggestions of obstacles I could implement in Rolo: Mask Unveiled. For example, I have your traditional spikes and electricity, as well as a door that has to be opened by flipping a switch. Also I created a door that can only open when their is enough heat present to raise the temperature to a certain level. That's an idea of what's going on. Another thing I would like input on is unlockables. What kind of things would make you want to play the game in order to unlock? Another question: How many different environments can you think of? (e.g. forest, desert, city, volcanic cavern, etc.) because I want great diversity in my game. Phrase of the day: If you don't believe your game is worth the effort to take time to make well, then people will not think the game is worth playing.Regitress signing out….
Kaaaay.
Is rollo a platform game?Cuz if so…
Snowy peaks would be nice for frictionless challenges, ruins for randomness, volcanos for no reason waterfalls for gameplay with a set movement, clouds for many pits of death, space for 0Gravity[Or an astroid, with low gravity…],maze, water land where air has to be gotten and no gravity. Gravity wells, so like orbis happen, rocket engine, lots of switchs and stuff, rainbow for a jolly level, caves for open levels[Like all 4 directions to explore] and thats all I have so far.Ya,you are the 2nd homed person I know here…the other one is a bit of a hard headed christian freak who thinks schools force thinking ways such as homosexuality is fine and global warming is real…apparently homosexuals are fine, they just have a mental problem…You like that?I used to be homeschooled… I'm a much happier person now that I'm not.
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmkay.
@REZ: Yeah, even though I hate school, being homeschooled would be worse.
