.TakaM here

If any of you have heard that name before, you've probably been keeping an eye on cocopuff's blog, and if so, you're aware Cocopuffs has become less and less active.

So, I'll take over blogging Twinsen's progress, just so I have more reason to be here than just having one comment on Cocopuff's blog.

So yup, there's your heads up.

BYAAH!

edit-

Cocopuffs tells me this entry is considered short, and against the rules (wtf)

So, I'll tell you guys a bit about me:

I'm 18, live in New Zealand, finished high school, and I make most of my money via free lance pixel artistry, if you're curious, you can check out my other blog, which isn't really a blog:

If you notice the availability page, and that it says I'm currently employed, I'm working with a dev team on a 2D MMORPG, as you probably expect, I can't go talking about it everywhere.. that or I'm just lazy, you'll never know.

I'll probably write about the mmorpg on a later date though, so stay tuned for that.

What else?…

my name, it stands for:

Tupac

also

known

as

Makaveli

And if you know who he is, you would assume I'm quite the fan of rap music, though nowadays most rap really sucks.. anywho, just understand I'm into mostly rapper's you've probably never heard of, and they don't just rap about guns drugs and girls, oh and, for places that require more than 5 characters (email etc) I combine TakaM with Amaru (tupac's middle name) I later found out Takamaru is the name of some anime character

also, my little emblem I use with the .II, the meaning behind that is back from when I was coming up with a username for my first forum, I was considering 2akaM or TakaM (tupac sometimes went by '2pac') and then I thought about IIakaM, ala roman numerals, looked kinda stupid, but then I thought "roman decimal?" as in, ".II" I just find it interesting, a little thought provoking and it takes me back.

Favourite video games? holy trinity of mine has to be Super Metroid, Yoshis Island and Cave story, all have flawless engines, and while their graphics may not be jaw droppingly beautiful, they're coherent and work very well.

So yeah, that's about all I can be bothered mentioning at this point, stay tuned.

awesome pixels. also cave story's graphics are jaw-droppingly beautiful.

Cave Story's graphics aren't as good as the engine, the only reason they're so popular is because the style, colors, and use of colors.

Glad you joined TakaM, you've made quite an impression with that one game with coco *struggles to remember it's name……Twinsen, that's right, it's in your favourite games* that is turning out to be a very nice and well developed.

I have one question that you didn't leave any info on…are experienced with GameMaker as well…or do you just do the pixel work for them?

TakaM 17 years ago

I have almost 0 experience with game maker

the experience I do have being I've just recently started making maps in GM7 for Twinsen :P
