I think that with the teleportation, assuming it's teleportation rather than lag, if you had some kind of effect (like smoke or a dashing animation) it would be more fluid. It looks a little janky compared to the smoothness of everything else. But, I think you were planning that anyway, so… GREAT JOB! :)

Yea, if you notice, there are no special effects. I'll get to that once Sakuya is finished.

I like the way those bullets really look like danmaku bullets. Seems a bit OP/spammable, but knowing you like Brawl Minus I assume everyone will be broken in their own way?

In Touhou Hisoutensoku (the game he's basing the animations and attacks on), these attacks had internal cooldowns (and drained a gauge, if I remember correctly). Everyone had access to these sorts of attacks and they were all extremely weak and easy to dodge with something similar to SSB's wave dash. With all of these factors in place, it wasn't really "OP". While you could spam this stuff, so could your opponent, and since bullets don't stagger targets, you couldn't really lock people down with this. I assume, by how closely he's following Hisoutensoku's attacks and animations, that he'll also incorporate these minor details.

Anyway, it's been years since I played this game so forgive me if it's not 100% accurate.

When are you going to start on other characters? You only have a few hundred to go.

As broken as they look they are not that so in actual practice:

Unlike either SWR or SSB, the hitbox used for detecting bullets is actually more reminiscent of the SHMUMP games, just a little dot equipped to the hip!

Also, unlike SWR or SSB, TSSB has shields that do not where down, soooo yea…

I'll start other characters when I'm done with Sakuya.
