Quick update

Posted by kevboh on May 11, 2007, 10:16 a.m.

Hey everyone,

The next few days are finals for me, so I probably won't be around. I have one on saturday, which is ridiculous.

Also, just to give you a taste of how brilliant I am, yesterday I developed a new mathematical theory concerning the surface of tetrahedrons.

COWER IN FEAR.

To make up for my absence, I'm planning a couple of features here that should make things easier/more flashy.

Yours,

kevboh

@FrenchconX

No, Pythagoras' Theorem is

a^2+b^2=c^2

(The "^" denoting that the following number is superscript)

You're thinking of the Pythagorean Triple.

(Yes, I'm just being a nerd, it doesn't really matter)

Sorry if I'm a total n00b at geometry, but why would we need more theories concerning the surfaces of tetrahedrons? And uh… If I'm not mistaken, isn't a tetrahedron just an unnecessarily fancy word for a regular pyramid?

a2+b2=c2

(Sorry, I forgot about the BB code)

And I'm only thirteen…

It wasn't the surface area per se, as I was integrating a force vector over the surface of a tetrahedron, and instead integrated over several other surfaces via Stokes'.

Mynameissonic:

a*a+b*b=c*c

Is the same thing as:

A^2+b^2=c^
