I am seriously starting to hate people who use website hosts such as freewebs or any other site host that has a site builder.
I will explain why…Most of the people who sign up for these type of hosts are planning to use the site builder to build their site, as they have no coding experience whatsoever. The some of those who do choose to go with the site builder pick a template that has been used 1,000's of times. They then tried to edit the template to make it look good and just fail and bring the site down to about 2 seconds viewing. Now, HTML is not hard to learn. It might take you from a couple of days to a week to learn it. It is not hard. The best site to learn it from is the w3schools website. If you have done this, then you can use freewebs as a practice site or just start in notepad and save it as an .html file. Once you are getting good at that, then you can learn all about Cascading Style Sheets (CSS). It takes about and hour to a couple of hours to learn. This will enchance your HTML page by a great margin if you know how to use CSS properly. Then again, use freewebs or notepad to practice and see what designs you can come up with. Then you can move onto another host that doesn't have a site builder, and create good looking designs to make people want to stay at your site for more than 5 seconds. All of the above is because I dislike people with sites made with a site builder, as it just takes the mick out of people who fully code the sites.
Broxter2 - Is this a test?
And I assume PHP and MySQL just suddenly vanished?lol nope… Ajax suck… But Holland are good.
Yeah, you can easily make a good website.
Also, PHP/MySQL rock. This is getting a little bit off topic with the comments. But I am also learning PHP and MySQL at the moment.
I would also recommend going to w3schools to learn CSS as well. Not to mention freewebs is sloooooooooooooow.
But Freewebs is so coooooooooooooooooool. :P
