First game lasted whole last half of lunch. Then we played one where I ended up with a premature queen and he was trying to develop when I ran in with my premature queen to mate him with the help of a castled rook except it was false mate and instead I just got his queen and then I called false mate again and took some other piece so that by the end of it I had smashed him and then it was finally mate. Ya, I'm bad at determining checkmate or making it for that matter

Then we played a game where I started a hit on his pawn that cost us both a knight, a bishop and a queen. But I was a pawn up, so there. Ended with what the first did, queen (promoted after trading my rook for his rook) and rook against knight and knight. Teacher came over and started explaining endgame theory but didn't go over so well and he left annoyed with all the stalemates he was coming across and so I had to finish up the queen v nothing when I remembered that the key to endgame is proper king play

Must wire myself to not forget that the king becomes a piece with actual use in endgame
