Inviting?

Yeah, so I read about considering invite-registering only in the newest new's comments.

My personal opinion about this (gosh, it's so fun writing in the tahoma font) is total agreement.

This would stop the flood of new people registering and acting like retarded demons.

We'd have more of the good people.

The problem with this would probably be that "good people" doesn't join 64D because they can't get an invite.

Also, not-so-good users that joined before invite registering could get a possibility to invite other not-so-good users.

To prevent that, we could keep a record of who invited who, and maybe add that in the users profile or something.

Invited by: namegoeshere.

What's your opinion about all this?

About having a strict or not - community, I'd go with a relaxed 64D, but not too much. I mean, we don't need to have two extreme options. I think it's fine as it is right now, which I think is something between those two options.

About my life then, I'm moving if anyone cares. From the countryside into the city. Boring. Also I've bought new shoes, and I'm more into photography than before.

Have you heard of trainsurfing? If not, look it up; google or youtube.

I think it's quite dumb but still.. cool or something. I'd find it fun to stand behind a train moving in like 85 mph / 140 kmh. But it'd be too dangerous I think, so I wouldn't do it.

Have a nice day.

To get rid of some of the "dormant" users, the mods should pm all the users with a message that states something like "Respond to this in the next (insert time period)." For all the users that don't respond to the pm should get banned. Although it might take a long time to sort through all the members.

When I said, "(insert time period)" it didn't mean that you had to respond a day later. I thinking about month or so.

My plan isn't a way to get rid of users who stay logged on for long periods of time. It's to get rid of people who sign up one day and never log on ever again or for people who only log on once a year.
