New layout, kinda made me think I was in the wrong place.
Anyway, being my final matric year in high school I actually have to apply for university… by the 30th/31st of this month. Also considering my crap Grade 11 final marks, and my okayish matric marks up to here, I'm really worried… Guess I'm just going to have to pull up my socks and climb into some studying next term.So anyways got this long 6 week holiday because of the World Cup :) which is happening in my country. Unfortunately we kinda lost in the first round, but atleast we sent that French team home, apparently on a second-class flight in a Boeing 747 with no extras that had been booked 3 days before… Well looks like I'm firmly behind Germany as I usually am.Heard something really scary, they want to start filtering pornography out of the country at tier one providers effectively making a Great Firewall much like China. Well there would be two reasons I would oppose this but seriously what stops them from just expanding it like China did, to ANYTHING that it deems 'offensive' or 'immoral'. I think I'm moving to Sweden. See: http://mybroadband.co.za/news/internet/12711-Internet-porn-ban-the-cards.htmlBeen doing some web developing these holidays with PHP and SQL. WAMPServer really helps me not having to upload to free PHP web hosts or create infinite loops that crash servers and get me banned XDAlso hoping to start work on a game or two, thinking of messing with some 3D in a platform game… Throw in some particles, visual effects and surfaces and give me a siezure XD
Lol sometimes I accidently do infinite loops on my website but they cut off after a minute or so.
It's too bad we didn't go through, but we came damn close, so I'm happy about that. And at least we've done better than France in this World Cup. Kinda weird that there's no more reason to wear our Bafana shirts, though.
Hey, what part of South Africa are you from? I live near Johannesburg.I told them they should've had protection against stuff like that. They didn't find it very funny XD
I live in the windy city of Cape Town.
