The swipe gestures are intended to be used on a phone instead of a mouse :D

I was very anxious to play this game because I liked the banner so much. I was expecting a little more but the graphics are kind of interesting... they do fit well together. The music is fun and like the idea of the swap to jump (even though I played using the mouse).

I was only disappointed with the movement and specially the collision detection, as it feels just weird.

By curiosity, Why the name of game?

Heh, yeah I'll be fixing the collision detection when I get the devkit up and running on my new PC soon. This was an exercise with the aforementioned devkit to see what I could learn and come up with in a week, so it's not exactly as polished as it could be. Glad you liked the banner though, care telling me what you like about it? :)

As for the name it's a parody of Chariots of Fire, referring to the distinct rings on the character's tail.

Cool! I didn't really get the reference!

As for the banner, I don't really know exactly what caught my attention. I think it just really stands out from the other banners.

I agree with others. However, with a bit practice I was able to play it. Perhaps, some highlighted area's for mouse gesture equivalents. Also, in the future I suggest that when using HTML5 consider multiple platforms into your development scheme. Even-though, many small devices use touch as an interface it's not the only interface and should NOT be considered the only standard to use.

Aside from these small issues the game wasn't bad considering the concept. After overcoming the 'hurtle' of gestures in order to play it. I didn't mind it. It reminded me a bit of Track and Field from konami.

Where are the rings of fire

The title of this game is falsely advertising the existence of rings of fire
