Online Engine - Released

Posted by -0NL1N3- on Dec. 14, 2006, 12:07 p.m.

Yup, I submitted my online engine and it was accepted. It has a Kirby Online example from me and a Racer Online example from Marbs.

Credit to Toon-Master for helping me out with some problems.

I don't whether or not to release it to the GMC seeing as what happened when SJF released his MMORPG example and got a massive load of noobs PMing him. It would help people but it would also attract a lot of noobs. Maybe I'll just ignore my PM box if I release it there. [:P]

I got new games for my DS:

Crash Boom Bang and Yoshi Island DS.

I finished Crash Boom Bang in 1:53 hours. It's an addicting game. It's one game made up of over 40 minigames. If anyone remembers Crash Bash for the PS1, it's like that, only for the DS.

Yoshi Island DS is one hell of a game. The babies are pretty cool. Mario has a dash ability and he can turn into Super Mario which allows you to walk up walls, stutter jump longer (Stutter Jump: Hold in the Jump button while in the air and Yoshi waves his legs to stay up longer) and dash. Peach has an umbrella which allows you to stutter jump longer. Donkey Kong has a punch/dash type thing, can climb up vines and can move heavy things. Wario has a magnet which allows you to attract metal things like coins, metal platforms and metal boxes.

So, that's about it. Download the online engine and make your own online games.

Thanks,

I loved Crash Bash for the PS1. Fun game.

And that car racing example that comes with the online engine is awesome ;)
