hot on the heels of my last release Im looking for more help.

Atodev is a magazine that everyone can read. We try to be very diverse in the topics we cover and the news we post.

there are only a few areas that are always consistent.

the current job openings are.

1.Gml expert (to write gml tutorials or answer gm questions from readers)

2.Gm game reviewers.(should be able to write a full page review of any assigned Gamemaker game.)

3.Gamemaker news hawk(collects news bit regarding"but not limited to" gamemaker.)

4.topic commentary (write an article about whatever interests you and would interest others.)

5.tutorial tutor(If you can write a tut on we'll take it!)

My jobs go alot further than the book but I also write reviews, news, tutorials, and a few mangas and comics.

If you wish to apply for any of these, please Pm me.

GML is an acronym, as is GM and PM, and if you're going to capitalise the G in Game Maker, also capitalise the M.

I used to manage and write for a short lived gamemaker game review site, I might be able to help.

interesting. Is it acronym, or just abbreviation? I thought acronyms are abbreviations where you actually pronounce the word, like laser or scuba. But abbreviation is where you pronounce the letters, like USA or BBC.

always wondered about this.

back on topic: what about 64d news? you should include that in magazine. Wait… we don't have any news. never mind.

An abbreviation is something like "abbr" instead of abbreviation, all an acronym is is a word made up of the first few letters of each word in a phrase - though many abbreviations are also acronyms, and vice versa.

If you can't get your spelling and grammar right in a blog, why should we trust you to get it right in a magazine? Learn to write before you start making a magazine, because that's what magazines are about - writing.

Early GMTech and MarkUp magazines often had beautiful aesthic design, but where brought down to the level of nigh unreadable by poor writing. Russell's Quarterly was plainly laid out, but remains my favourite GM-related magazine of all time because of the strength of its writing.

It's not about whether you think there should be a magazine around that does stuff in a certain way. It's not about whether you feel you can lay out a magazine well. It's not about the exclusives, the special reviews and previews, or the comprehensive news coverage you feel should be provided. It's about writing. Moreover, it's about writing with correct grammar and spelling, and in a style that is pleasant and enjoyable to read. If you can't write, don't waste your time making a magazine.

I understand your justly apprehension.

But I'm not gonna be derailed by somebody named "flaker" >_>'

F1ak3r is somewhat of a grammar mastermind, you should probably listen to him.

Case in point: "I understand your justly apprehension"

I don't understand what that is supposed to mean, even. I don't want a magazine of it.

I don't think he trying to stop you, he's just giving some advice. Good advice. If people want to read bad grammar they can read my posts instead. haha…

Actually, you just need to capitalize first word of sentence, capitalize acronyms, and put space after "." and "," That's mainly your problem. The rest seems ok.

I guess "sarcasm" is hard to get across to others over the internet huh?

And I'm paying attention…..
