We are not allowed to fix bugs at this point, right?

Personally, my game doesn't have any game breaking bugs, not any that cannot be fixed by closing and reopening the game.

I was just curious.

If it is a gamebreaking bug, contact a staff member and they can decide whether or not to approve the change.

Note: A bug shouldn't need a significant change in the filesize. You should only change BUGS. If content is added, or assets changed, it's cheating. If we suspect cheating, we won't approve it. If cheating slips past our check, and we find out about it, you will be disqualified.

Well, and you could just make a Newer Edition, or something if you want to continue. I'm sure it can be made clear that it isn't the comp submission.

Also: Could we move the game submissions to a separate feed list or something? I can't find the blogs!

I'd prefer if everyone just waited - it's only two weeks, and then you can update as much as you want!

If you start posting updates, people will be confused as to what game is what and the more developed versions will influence voting, whether you use the same game page or not.

I'm glad you said this, because I've been informed of a rather nasty bug that occurs when people die in places that are impossible to die in. Something to do with getting stuck in a poorly calculated respawn when skipping cutscene sections. I'm not going to fix this until I get a few more complaints, though.

So if I get it, the actual voting begins in 7 days, and ends 7 days after it begins?

Acid 10 years ago

Yes - 7 days to play, and 7 days to make your pick.

Thank you for allowing me to fix up that silly bug. (Still wondering if that other tiny one I mentioned in the PM is passable though).

Now I'm confident with my game as it is.

I'm going to make a compilation video of all the games in a couple days. Everybody else should make videos, stream, or just talk about this on social media. Let's take the momentum we have and run with it.
