What's come of 64digits???

Posted by Adalas on Aug. 27, 2007, 6:24 p.m.

Okay… I think I missed something. What the heck happened to 64Digits?! There hasn't been a new Game, WIP, or example in the last month! I hardly seen many people online anymore, and I mean… Wow. The case is, is 64Digits going to last? If so, how long? I really hope this would never happen but I'm having a bad feeling that 64digits is going to get dropped…

I know, It's a scary thought, but wow, with so many problems I've seen with it, there people are hardly online anymore, and I haven't seen any new posts. I hate this! I liked when there was always tons of people online! I'm sure 64digits won't get dropped, but I think the mods should take precautions of the possibilty just in case. I'd hate to see this place go.

According to Obel Isk, Luda poured BBQ sauce in the server. Silly Luda.

Yeah, nice post SJF; you finally show your face here again. Nice avatar, by the way.

You seem to have just gotten on here, Adalas, so let me fill you in…

64Digits is currently seeming to be encountering MySQL/PHP errors (What a mouthful. That could've been said more easily, but since I don't help run the site, I can't seem like I know what this site is doing), which is why no users appear, and why many session variables aren't showing. In fact, if you had looked at the active users list when you were actually on, you would've found that even you weren't on the list.

As for acceptance, just listen to what everyone else said. I really don't think the staff has enough time to fix the site and accept games right now.

Wow, it's been a while since I was here, too.

Kilin, it's not so much PHP/MySQL errors as the server's hardware being completely shot.

It seems as though 64digits may be falling apart, but it'll pull itself together, besides, it will always have some of it's loyal members.

It really won't…

Everything will ultimately self-destruct so why not 64d? Let us atleast have fun before we do so.

We should be able to pull things back together once we get the downtime issues sorted out. After this point, V3 development is truly starting.
