Pixil Pirfict v2

Posted by ApexInc on Dec. 13, 2006, 2:57 p.m.

So I've somewhat started making a new version of my drawing program Pixil Pirfict. I made a new original tool and added a loading bar on certain things that have to take a while to complete(like invert). I've decided to add some new functionalities and not just limit the user to a 16-64 pixel canvas. The fill tool, at this point, is still going to be the same unless someone amazing makes a better one that I can use. I think I'm going to upgrade the interface too; who doesn't like a graphics upgrade?

So if you'd like to make any suggestions for new tools or capabilities or bugs to fix, I'd be very appreciative. I don't know how long it will take me to upgrade it enough to make it worthy to be called version 2, so it might take a while. And if you really want a version 2, then say so, just so I know who cares. Support helps.

I made a fill tool, but it sucks. If you wanna compare, check out DIA Image Editor.

Ya thats another thing I was going to attempt to add. With my setup on it its not going to be all that easy.

@DF81: Your bucket fill isn't any better than mine. I guess it doesn't get too much better than that really. I wonder how the Artex one goes so fast though.

It's quite obvious that the creators of Artex sold their souls to get fill to work so well. It's obvious to me, anyway, because I'm the ones who bought their souls.
