Welcome to 64D. Awesome song. I listened to Forest Bounce too, I think I like it more cause of that funky bass.

Welcome to 64digits! Enjoy your stay.

I had a listen to your piece. It's a little too repetitive for my tastes, as a rule of thumb, I recommend you refrain from repeating the same phrase in a row without variation no more than three times. Repetition is great for emphasis of certain phrases, but any more than that and it starts to get a little old in my ears. I understand you're going for a minimalistic style by staying in the same chord throughout the entire piece, but I feel at least some progression and movement would serve this piece well. Even if you don't want to do it too often, why not add a contrasting section in the middle in a different key to change things up a bit?

That criticism aside, I really enjoyed the textures you used, you have quite a talent in that regard. Keep up the good work and be sure to share your future efforts with us!

Oh, and at 1:57, what's that horn/trombone instrument? I found it was interesting.

Thanks for the crit, I normally write on my guitar, horn, and keys, where chord progressions are a given, so I need to keep that in mind when I use the Computer. At 1:57, I believe that a brass horn, Cozy brass in Ableton, I think. It gave me a nice warm Trombone sound and I've been playing since I was 11 so I'm a bit partial to it. I might of played with the knobs a bit too. Breath-y with a bit of reverb.

Yay trombone, I've been playing euphonium for over 6 years.
