No, I'm going to stop using chrome because it's been giving me problems that I never had with firefox and firefox no longer has the problems it used to give me.
I like the fact that it's visually simpler- not 3D, not as much detail, etc. That makes for a much better logo. However, they completely screwed up on the shading.
It's no longer pleasant to look at for some reason that has to do with the blue piece in the center. It doesn't blend in with the shading of the whole circle- it looks like a flat disc with a blue bump in the middle, which is just hideous.Maybe If they made the shading continuous with the whole logo? The blue gradient would be almost invisible but I would like it a lot better.

I only took chrome because I was having trouble with firefox, it was temporary from the start.If nothing else, we must admit that this new Chrome logo isn't even in the same dimension of terribleness as that inhuman grin.

It looks like they're going backwards. They could have taken away the 3D aspect without making it that ugly.
