Deathball 2D Beta v1.4 Released!

Posted by Cronotek on Jan. 14, 2007, 5:15 p.m.

Hey guys, I've just uploaded a new version of Deathball 2D! The main new feature of this version is the new map, SpikeZone. The problem is, I don't really feel that it comes close to the quality of the other maps. Every time I test it, something just feels wrong about it.

Because of this, I'm really looking for suggestions on how to improve SpikeZone. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated!

Here's the full version notes:

———————————–

GENERAL:

- The map "SpikeZone" is now available to be played!

- Increased the player's base shot charge rate by approximately 10%.

- Global volley power has been reduced by approximately 1%.

- Adjusted the shot charge rates for the Normal and Easy AI difficulties.

- Slightly increased the Easy AI's volley power.

- Slightly improved the character sprites.

- Altered the menu buttons and the splash loader.

- Improved the visuals of the talent tree menu.

- To avoid confusion, the A.I. will no longer move during its celebration after it scores.

- Slightly reduced the duration of celebration mode.

Please let me know if this blog is too short or if anything else is wrong with it. I'm new here so let me know if I'm doing anything wrong. Thanks!
