|Zap "3D Particles" bang alakazam!|

It's Zap everybody (who has no clue what I am talking about)!

Zap is my secret project that I have mentioned before. It is a 3d top down shooter with simple, but cool 3d models. (That you should not copy) Zap will be much bigger for this is only a tech demo to see how many frames per second do other users get on their computer. The dull gray tiles are just part of the demo. This game shows that gamemaker can load somewhat decent 3d graphics.

It uses my particle effects in 3d engine not some other's.

I also have some simple shadows.

The game should turn out fun, but not the tech demo. It is only intended to test FPS.

Start Posting those FPS!

It ran smoothly, the FPS keep at 60, sometimes it drops to 58 and once it went to 50 for a second. When using the flame blast against these bunch of cannons it went to 51.

Keep working on it, looks promising. I don't know but for some reason it makes me rmemeber that Sonic 3D once made for the Sega Genesis (I think it was for the Genesis).

i achieved 50-60 fps. instead of using 1 object for every flame particle, i recommend using about 3 particles for 1 object, speeding it up quite a bit.

That is not a bad Idea!

Thank you abacus.
