Xna

Uhm not too much has gone on in my life recently, other than the fact that i now hate my science teacher. Ok, so yesterday we were reviewing for a test i took today, on atoms/protons/electrons, and me and my friends were asking i guess stupid questions, and she eventually stopped the review, and told us to stop asking such silly questions, (now she said this to the whole class.) Ok so i was actually going to stop and start to take notes and stuff, when this smart girl, asks the dumbest question in the world. I forgot what it was, but it was really funny, so i broke out laughing, and got sent into the hallwayyyy. nooooooooo. :[ Haha thats the second time thats happened to me, where i couldn't stop laughing and got kicked out or almost got kicked out of a class because of it. The ferst time was in spanish when an example on the worksheet used "Ricky Martin," and i just couldn't contain myself.

Alright now for the topic title. I was kindof just wondering how hard it is compared to other languages. I'm looking for an easy but effective language to learn other than gml. I just kindof want a fresh start. Plus, i think being able to deploy to your 360 is awesome, even if it is for $99 a year.

Edit* I know xna uses C# and is actually not a language in itself. But i mean altogether, like with C#.

Yeah, I wouldn't suggest skipping GML to learn C#. GML is waaaaaaay easier, plus, you really won't get any of it if you don't know any coding languages.

I would go with XNA, because GM is well… useless?

Learn GML, then learn C# or C++.

Actually, XNA is just a very, very user-friendly program (once you learn the basics) that uses C#, like you said. It also has a more noob-friendly set of tutorials. I managed to create a tiny game with it, but i prefer GM because of the simplicity.
