Went to a tournament today.
It sucked because everyone else was a power gamer with a $1000 deck.I can have fun even if I lose, but not when my opponent doesn't let me play anything at all. Being a punching bag sucks. Also got raped by someone half my height.Fuck magic tournaments.Also, trying to introduce my sister to Magic and took her to the tourney not knowing what I was getting into. Now she hates Magic.Fuck everything.On the plus side I traded a bunch of shit cards for 2x Master of Etherium and 2x Coat of Arms. And I got a free shit elf card and I'm now a DCI member. I guess those are good things.
The game is fun, but power decks suck balls. That and the constant rule changes..ug.
Haven't played in years, still have cards though.I love Magic, too bad it costs a lot money to be up to date. I'd rather spend my cash on a new computer.

Haha, I totally know what you mean, even though I haven't been to any tournament - I once played with a more "professional" friend of mine and I got my ass kicked by his army of 15 6/6 token creatures in the third turn or so.

I always thought Magic seemed more visually appealing to me than any other trading card game. The pictures on the cards are so detailed.
