Update:Turns out christmas was complete shit for everyone in my family this year. I tried looking for a job. didn't work out.
I've also been taking a few MIT programming courses during my absence, learned some useful Java stuff, that I'm pretty sure I've already forgotten, because I haven't done any of the lessons in a while, should get back into them, it was actually very fun. I was very surprised how similar it was to GML, so I picked up on it extremely fast.
As for my PC problem, it's kind of fixed, I guess. I use the word
fixed loosely. I can't save shit on it because, well I dunno why. As soon as I turn off my PC, it erases everything that's been saved. My dad installed Ubuntu on it with a USB, which turns out to be complete shit.
My hard drive is dead, so I'll need a new one. I thought I lost everything, but I was able to save a ton of my games, because of some old CD with all my games like TWE backed up one it. Thing is, it's from January of 2010, I believe.
Or was it 2011? lol I forget.
I also found a beta of TWE stored on box.net I believe, but with that, It's the public alpha, which I deleted all the story missions and music to make a smaller filesize.
I just read my inbox, and it turns out Taizen was trying to give me the prize money for the S4D comp. Sorry, man. Hopefully, this blog will explain my absence.

My interest multiplied by a kajillion when Ken Levine said "The ending will be unlike anything you've ever experienced in a videogame before".

I already beat Dishonored, but I'd like to actually own it. I want to beat it a second time WITHOUT KILLING ANYONE. First playthrough I killed fucking everyone.
I heard Diablo 3 is coming to consoles. If so, I'd most likely play the shit out of it. I haven't played the older ones, so it could be a good chance that I'd enjoy it.
Also, THE WITCHER 3!I need to get into this series, they all look great. Especially because of all the nudityIf it is coming to console, I doubt they'll do away with the always-online thing. Which means, for xbox, you'd have to pay $8 a month to play it, or whatever 'ten-year-old asshole radio' costs these days.
Nah, I actually don't see them doing that. Especially considering all the Minecraft version updates are free so far.
I'd actually see them doing more of a Free to Play type scheme, and then if you want shortcuts to get certain things faster, there'll be expensive DLC.Beware of the Witcher series, cause it has a pretty steep learning curve in the fact that the minimap doesn't always tell you where to go for your objective. So you kind of just… wander around and find things out for yourself, and that can take forever, and if you screw up, you screw up.
I actually am stuck in a part now because I have to traverse this place in the dark and find a key so I can finally get through this damn door and make progress.But yea, I just got an email for the announcement of Witcher 3 from CD Projekt Red, and I can't wait. Witcher 2 looks and plays GREAT.Well I suppose it is (marginally) harder to pirate console games.
Far Cry 3 was friggin amazing - still haven't finished it though (or looked at that map editor lol)
and Dead Space 3 is looking pretty good; seems like the gameplay isn't degraded at all by the microtransactions so I'm a happy camper :pI also heard Day Z will be coming to the xbox or even possibly some other consoles eventually.
