Can any one help tell me how to make a HUD?
I've tried making one but I just get frustrated. I also tried looking in the examples but couldn't find any. we all live in the yellow submarine we hate the damn machine we'd rather paint it green.When designing a HUD you need to keep in mind what information the player needs to know at all times(or most of the time) and then present it in the clearest possible way. Start out with a simple layout to get an idea of how you want things organized, then at all the colors and boarders or whatever you wish to design it.
Its also good to use a dynamic HUD,which you can do ineffiecently with multiple objects.I'm guessing you don't want to make coded HUDobjects that aren't actual objects but just variables and templates(Even better,CodeDrawnTemplates)
