A couple of weeks ago I bought the brand spanking new halo 3.
I used to have the old Xbox and i had both Halo 1 and Halo 2, they were both absolutly fantastic games which put me in the mood for Halo 3.When I put the disk into my Xbox 360 (elite) and started on the first mission of the campain, I thought 'OMG the graphics are going to be wicked!' and they were. Then I thought 'OMG the gameplay is going to be brilliant!' and it was. But then i thought 'OMG the missions are going to be mentally more satisfying and more challenging than their equal equivalants in the previous installment of this very interesting and hooking storyline, Halo 2' and they wern't.The fact is, im slightly dissapointed at the campain in Halo 3, i felt that it did not live up to its predecessors halo1 and halo2. But the multiplayer more than makes up for that.The multiplayer in halo 3 is amazing, comined with the new feature 'forge' and Xbox live the possibilites are endless.And thats my view of Halo 3.
I feel that the story for Halo 3 was amazing, but I do agree with you that it wasn't really challenging. My friends and I ran (read "ran") through Legendary. Beat it in 3 hours. But the multiplayer is so addictive and with those new maps coming out on the 11th, it's going to be hard to get off.
Oh…. God… Halo Wars… its sad so many people will buy that because it has the name "Halo" in it even though it isn't even the same kind of game..
