The Theoretical Adventures of Abstract Questica: Someone Goes Into a Setting and Fights Some Antagonists

My final for game design. Progress is going awex0m3ly, I got the basic engine done in 2 days. If I continue going a level a day, I should have it done in…16 days from now. We'll see!

As you can see, there's a fair deal of glitchiness remaining, what with the trails being all…strange. That space to the right is reserved for things like score, etc.

Can you figure out the gameplay??

EDIT: Well, I certainly never thought 64D's queue would take this long. I was going to wait 'til my next post to reveal, but…this picture's a complete, total mockup! That game never existed, I just tossed this together to quell some of the, erm…fierce curiosity going around in game design class. The real Questica's inching it's way through the lines right now…

Hmm…pretty interesting looking game! It's definetely colorful. I would like to eventually see it!

I'm surprised I gave up after you posted this. Oh well. You should try to actually make a game based of this picture when you're done with Questica. If you put more thought into it I'm sure you could make it into something pwning.
