Fallout 4 Announced

In engine footage I hope. I doubt a pre rendered trailer would have textures that low rez. :P

Super excited even though I'm pretty sure it won't top The Witcher 3 in terms of quest design, character design, voice acting, or city size.

I'm sure the atmosphere will be amazing though. I also expect it to be fantastic.

The models and textures were actually less impressive than I thought they'd be, but overall I'm loving dystopian world… with color!!

Seriously, the inclusion of a larger color palette already makes it better than Fallout 3 for me. :P

I didn't expect amazing graphics at all. Fallout 3 looked like a grey Oblivion, which only impressed me by next-gen scale and resolution in 2006. Skyrim wasn't pretty either, but they sure are fun games.

I hope the quest writing is up to/surpasses New Vegas standards. With companion sidequests and easy to miss but deeply implemented things like Vault 11.

FO3/Skyrim never had awful textures or models, the fucking animation is the real problem

Certainly how it seems. If 1:42 is any indication, I'm hoping we get some cool Blade Runner esque android bounty hunting missions.

I hope the combat has some improvements. I'd like to play the game more like a proper shooter instead of constant VATs.

Eh, I (mostly) use VATS and play in third person because the Fallout I know and love was never a mediocre fps
