Yea it's been a while since my last blog so I got stuff to talk about.

My grandma is in the hospital, but she should be returning home by Friday if all goes as expected. I've been visiting her every few days.

I was over at a friend's house and my computer starting acting weird. The screen wouldn't turn on and the keyboard/hard drive weren't working, we thought the motherboard was fried somewhere. I almost had to buy a new computer fo like 400$, which would have taken like a month to get. Fortunately we found what was wrong with it- the RAM card got knocked loose. Took 5 seconds to take it out and reinsert properly.

I got bored so I started working on a space combat simulator. I found this really kickass particle weapon effect example created by Chaz (found here), so I felt compelled to do something with it. I made a nice combat system for various ships (5 different ships for both the rebel and empire armies), each equipped with different weapon setups. I was playin with it and gave you control of 1 rebel ship for now so you can help pwn the empire. Not sure how much more I'll work on this, I want to at least get game stats in like time, casualties, etc.
