I'm working on a multi-weapon system, powerups, and plenty more courses, vehicles, and upgrades :D
Of course, there isn't much there in terms of graphics - but once done, I'm hoping to hark back to the nostalgic days of Micro Machines and all those Pseudo-3D racers such as F-Zero (In this case, it's more like Top Gear, Mad Racer) - hence the trippy looking road, and the checkerboard green grass/carpet tiles.And OL, you are quite correct - except I'm converting it into a d3d_model first, then drawing it with a tiled texture.I've used 2 other models of the track to create the rumble-strips.And that's it from me - I gotta go to bed. Have fun seeing if you can find glitches/break the AI :P*logs off and goes to bed*there are just enough sharp curves that when i past the last two guys i get thrown into the tires and end up in last again. it's pretty intense once you finally work up to the middle of the pack though.
you should add a nos/turbo button so my younger siblings can enjoy it lolPretty neat :D
The controls really felt very nice.That pic sure looks nice, too bad I have linux and can't play it :(
The camera and controls were very smooth, but took some getting used to. I can't steer worth anything here.
The graphics are also nice. The only thing I can suggest is to lighten the car shadows a bit. But that's unimportant.Overall, it's very nice. Worlds apart from my own attempt at making a racing game. I agree with Kilin that the shadows would be better if they were a little transparent, but they're fine as-is.

So yea, I haven't tried many GM racing games. But this one has to be the best so far, even for an alpha. YOU WILL finish this! kthnx bai lol
