Not really.

It's just that whatever I'm working on is incredibly messy on the inside, almost always. And if it's not made to be an example/engine/system/whatever that these new cool kids call them/ Well, it becomes messy in the code.

I'm not proud of my coding habbits.

But that's how I rooooooooooll.

Oh yeah, and the RPG will have to wait, as I'm working on Retro Racers Reloaded, and a quicky idea at making a TDS.

JID inspires me, damnit, I love shooting shit.

Oh yeah, can anyone direct me to a place where I can find a good walking cycle/animation of a top down dude? I'm sick to death with my lame-ass sprites. They piss me off so much, fuck.

Well, okay, they're alright but I suck at animating walking sequences and I'm laaaaazy~

Not being proud of your coding habits can be a good thing. Change them, make them better. If you look back on a project you did 6 months ago and don't think "What the fuck was wrong with me?", you're doing it wrong.

I checked the coding off of a project that I did two years ago, and it makes me want to punch myself in the face:

DRAW ALL THE OTHER INSTANCES VIA A USER-DEFINED ACTION AND THEN USING A "WITH ALL{}" CODE BLOCK TO DRAW THE SHIT IN THE CAMERA DRAW EVENT? WHAT THE FAAAAAAAAAAAK? WAS I HIGH?

By the way, THAT shit was in a 3D FPS.

Yeah, crazy stuff.

That's common practice for me because I do a lot of screen buffering to I can do crazy effects. GM not having a native screen buffer leads to some really nasty code.

i like going back to old mangled projects with +200 objects and making more efficient versions with just a couple objects. now if i could just finish one!
