Talking about my latest MMORPG

Hey all,

I was just going through my old posts and remembered that this was a site about game dev, wasn't it? Most of my posts here were shamelessly promoting things I was working on, so for old timesies sake, here's what I'm working on right now.

The idea is primarily that I really like making MMOs, but my ambitions usually outgrow my ability to produce, so I've tried to keep the scope of this one small and add features as I come up with them. The result has been a semi-functional game that's a heck of a lot of fun to work on. :3

It's a top-down RPG with cell-based movement. Right now the only method of attack you have is to swing a sword repeatedly, but there'll be additional classes and abilities added over time. The online engine works decently well and I've been able to leave the server running for a week at a time without rebooting it and it seems really stable. Anyway sorry for the thin details but I'll probably make more posts about it in the near future as I'll be adding account management and the first dungeon in the game soon.

Hit me up in the comments if you'd like a link to the Discord server for more regular info and the latest demo version. :D
