Excellent! My game finally got approved:
LINKBy the way, I make no apologies for the 2 small resource sprites. Some generous and creative soul took the time to create these sprites in the hopes that some game creator would them useful. If I see a resource sprite that fits with my game, it would just be stupid not to use it. It doesn't take away from the game's quality. Anybody who thinks otherwise is just wrong.
Resource sprites are not impressive at all, though. Most people associate resource graphics with noob games, and frankly, I don't enjoy when people can't even go around looking for games, and just take the graphics that come with it. It shows a lack of effort.
Diamonds are pretty easy to sprite…
But I liked your game anyway.Ludamad, the graphics that Mark Overmars supplies are pretty good quality, and it doesn't show a lack of effort to use them.
And the only people who even notice such things are people who have actually have GM. Nobody outside of the GM community has noticed anything off about the graphics of this game.Don't be jaded just because you're a GM user. Get your priorities straight. But this is for the GM community isn't it? I'm just saying they are old and everyone knows how you got them
I don't design games for the GM Community, I design my games to share with other people everywhere. Whenever I make a GM Game I post it on the GM Community, but I program in other languages as well. Many of the systems I use come with free sprites, I put them all together and don't really remember which came from where.
