Burial of a Friend

Posted by Phoenix on Jan. 5, 2007, 8:09 p.m.

I had a friend, a semi-close friend who I met this year. We hung out with my other friends at lunch and such, fooling around and such.

When I first met him, I used to call him the Asian (who was god at DDR :D). I soon grew to him, which was natural, having an hour lunch 5 days a week for a few months. Anyway, he was buried today.

John was a cool Asian, one who loved DDR, cards, and catapulting apples with spoons. He left Thursday, December 21st to go to see his mom and family in California. He never came back.

We buried him today. A friend hadn't given him a Christmas card, with the candy cane still on it.

We made it sacred. The card sat in his seat. It play Bull Sh!t with us, even flung an apple. Once the bell rang, it was time to say goodbye.

We (my, my best friend, a good friend) went to the 3rd floor boys bathroom where we went after luncg everyday. There, we buried John.

We placed the candy cane in his urinal, and the card in the toilet. At the same time, we flushed both, sending him on his final journey away from us.

He never came back.

So, to clear this up, did he die or did he just leave and never return?
