Ok. I'm thinking about making an action side-scrolling platformer with custom graphics and all (Though I SUCK at spriting). The twist is that there are 2 forms of your character.
First is Attack mode. With this, you can annihilate your enemies with your weapon (Should I go with a GIANT Bleach-style sword?), and destroy certain obstacles, but you can't reach many spots Defense mode can (More on that below), and take damage from enemies. Defense mode, however, can double jump, making platforming easier, and just get knocked back by enemies with no damage. However, your only attack is jumping on the enemies Mario-style, and you can't destroy any obstacles. A failsafe to stop unbalance is that it takes a couple of seconds to perform the transformation to the other mode. During this time, you're open to any attack, and if the enemy takes this chance, you get knocked back into your previous form (Before the transformation) and take double damage. Whatcha think? Of course, i'd need help with the graphics, and coding to do this…. Also, I have some experience with variables. Hell, i've created a game that's basically a 2-D engine of Ikaruga, where you can switch between black and white to absorb the bullets of the same color and all. (I may submit it in alittle bit. ^_^) PS: If I can't post things like this, then please tell me so I won't do it again.

Dim?
First off, Valor, you should earn some sort of badge for that kind off info… Wait.. Did I type that right? Eh, whatever.
Second, my bother has a friend who downloaded 4 japanese volumes of Bleach, maybe more, with six episodes each, and he let us borrow them. Thankfully, they have english subtitles….Third, I never even played Ikaruga, but I think the engine should resemble it.Fourth…. Dim…? What's Dim? Do you mean that one platformer awhile ago made by the one and only YoMamasMama, who also created the legendary Jumper games? I never played it.
