The Life of a Guy

I have been repeatedly pressed by a certain member of this website to return and post a blog. Being the generous spirit I am, I decided to yield to this request and post a single blog and update all of you poor bast…er, upstanding people, on the makings of my life to this point.

Well, I've long since ceased my dabbling in programming. Getting a job and focusing on school really took me away from even caring about what was simply a hobby to pass the time. I returned to programming only for the sake of making a nice Christmas present for my girlfriend a few weeks ago, but that wasn't some extensive project and really was not much more than a series of particle effects to go along with sentimental messages.

In my time away from this site, I made the transition to college. I'm currently attending Auburn University, if any of you have heard of it, it has a fairly renowned Engineering department, and my current major is Mechanical Engineering. I'm on full scholarship, must keep a 3.0 GPA to keep it, but so far I don't see that being much of a problem.

Christmas treated me well, hope it did the same for all of you if you chose to celebrate it. I've felt the yuletide spirit flow through me the past few days, just spending time with my family and preparing to take a trip to see my girlfriend and her family in a few days. I'm in a very relaxed, "chestnut roasting by an open fire" kind of a mood.

Well there you go, hope all of you I actually know have had a good life the past few years, and have success in your future endeavors.
