Gaea's Tail

So… I've got this idea for a game. It's a 2D turn-based JRPG, classic FF/DQ-style.

Pretty sweet right? It's gonna be the next big thing.

The story goes something like this: You and an accomlice go around tricking people into joining your party so that you can lure them to a place called Gaea's Tail, where you then murder them. Rinse and repeat.

Gaea's Tail is a magical tree that induces visions in those who touch it of what they most desire, which has led people to believe that the tree has the power to grant wishes. There are many varying tales on how to coax the tree into granting a wish, but you and your accomplice believe that the tree requires human blood. Lots of it.

Of course, there's more to it than that… the two characters' backstories and what their wishes are, what the tree actually is/does, etc. But that'd be no good to spoil all the juicy details now… especially since those details are not necessarily going to be spelled out for the player in the finished game, instead requiring them to piece together clues scattered throughout the world.

Thoughts?

Also, I may be looking for someone(s) to collaborate with on this.

I always like a good antihero approach. I say go for it.

Show me a demo, then I will believe you. Or at least a description of systems.

You'll believe what? That I have the idea I just described?

I haven't actually started work on anything. Hence why I said at the very beginning it was just an idea.
