Alpha 1

Coloraze has not yet achieved its "beta" status yet, so it's an alpha. I finished the platform engine part. And also added a feature I thought I wouldn't; RawrSpoon's snap button feature. His idea was that you could press a button, ex. spacebar, and it would snap the character to the grid. My idea is built in.

See what you think in the public alpha (wait, what?) of Coloraze: Spectrum

Post now to be a private tester.

Most game updates will be added to my projects, not my blog.

But feel free to post in the linked blog there.

That alpha looks very early, platform engine with a level and some tiles?

And I'll be a private tester if you like

I'll test once I get my internet back. And yay for snap to grid! It'll make speedruns easier

Not bad, for a very early thingymabob.

The two block high jump seems to be perfected, and it seems there is a good amount of progress quickly. And is that my name under the private testers, or is that a usertag?

LULZ CNA I TEST UR PRIVATEZ?

Nice job with the snapping idea. I've used that in past but I never thought of specifically placing snappers at key points. You could probably program autoplacement, however, to speed up and maintain consistent design.
