Finally got a day off work and it's a four day weekend

For this weekend I've been meaning to reply to all the emails in my inbox, get around to writing an entry here and do some work on Twinsen.

Well, I'm writing the entry right now, and I did a fair bit of work on Twinsen today, have a look:

Yup, a new background forest/bush layer, looks much nicer than the old paper cut-out version.

Cocopuffs just went to bed, and he also did quite a bit of work, the best part is he finally got a headset.. well, he used the mic in a digital camera and taped it to his headboard or something, so we could still talk while I made the new forest, and he knocked out some bugs, etc.

There's still about 2 dozen things that need to be done for the demo, some are just small tweaks and bug fixes, but others are brand new stuff.

So yeah, I've been having a lot of fun working at the video store, I've got the hang of everything I've been taught so far, and everyone I work with is pretty cool.

Only thing that sucks is I've only just been able to wash the one shirt I was given.

What else.. South park has resumed season 11, and it was a pretty great episode.

In case you haven't seen it, Cartman meets a kid with tourettes and wishes he had the disorder and proceeds to fake it.

He eventually gets scheduled for national TV and actually develops tourettes where he blurts out embarrassing secrets of himself.

Very funny episode, lots of good quotes, check it out if you're a fan.

Darren, my manager, has been recommending Are We Done Yet? to customers, and they all seem to say they enjoyed the first movie more, so I downloaded Are We There Yet?

And… meh, pretty cheesy movie, I don't think I could watch it again, and everyone seems to say that it's better than the sequel, so I'll stay away from it.

That's about all, I'll probably write another entry or two over these next four days, but I doubt I'll write one after a work day since I pretty much go straight to bed.

Now I'll get to those emails.
