Culkin

I semi-promised a new entry and surprise surprise, I didn't follow through.

But that's all good, let's see how long this entry ends up.

First off, "Culkin"? What the hell does that mean?

Well basically, it's short for Macaulay Culkin who I'm sure 90% of you remember from Home Alone.

No I didn't rent the movie and now I feel like writing about him for some weird ass reason, and shortening the title down to one word to fit in with my.. theme wasn't a cop out.

I made a Let's Play video series of Home Alone 2 on the snes.

It's only 3 videos and about an hour in total, the first two hours is just me doing solo commentary and mumbling random crap, then on the last video I get a friend to join me which is a lot more.. listenable.

So check out the videos if you have the time:

I dunno, I thought they turned out alright.

I'm gonna start a new LP video series on the first official Twinsen game- Little Big Adventure.

It's a nice long game so it should be good for at least a dozen videos, and it will spark up more interesting things to say if I commentate by myself again. (which I will try to avoid )

Speaking of Twinsen, any news?

Ask Cocopuffs, wherever he is.

I've seen a couple people at work I haven't seen for a while, first was my old friend Sam from primary school, he came in to get some games because he's going to have surgery soon and will be off his feet, and speaking of feet, he's about 7ft tall.

He was always tall, but god damn he's huge, he also looks like he could pass for a 30 year old.

I also saw 'Puck', his real name is Rojhantansomething, and if James is reading this, he'll remember him from all the flag football we used to play. He came in to see if he was signed up and well, he was.

Then another guy from my high school came in, another one of my friends I only saw the other week, and a couple students still in my old high school.

Movies; I watched Cube the other night, a new guy at work (I'm no longer the new guy) was going on and on about it, I had heard of it before and it sounded interesting.

To be fair, the idea was interesting.. but the execution makes it hard to enjoy.

First off, the entire movie takes place in these cubes (duh) and when they move onto another cube, they really just use the same cube with a different coloured light, so there's rarely anything to look at in the rooms, so that would of course mean the focus is on the characters?

Well, it is, but they are such terrible actors that it is even harder to enjoy.

All the actors just seem to deliver their lines and wait for the next person to talk, they might as well be filmed individually and pasted in together, they never "act off" each other or seem to actually interact with anyone.

I also watched The Island, which wasn't terrible for Michael Bay, it still had plenty of product placement (they're still playing the original Xbox in the future?), the gimmicks of the characters are shoved in your face repeatedly, and it felt like it could end at about 3 different points.

But, it wasn't terrible, it has Scarlett Johansson so it's not like you'll hate watching it, and the facility is pretty interesting, so if you're in the mood for a sci-fi, it'll do.

Okay guys, I'm gonna get back into Prime 3.

BYAAH!

Mc Calkin gives the werid guy in the trenchcoat that bends over pearl necklaces. Who needs innuendo when you have games like that?

One of my friends looks *exactly* like Macaulay Culkin. I mean, they may as well be twins.

People said I looked like Macaulay Culkin when I was younger.
