Has anyone ordered that Gamemaker book?
I preordered it and now that it came out it says the shipping time is 5-7 weeks…Yeah, I know it's for n00bs. When I pressed the purchase button I got it mixed up with the Dark Basic Pro book and thought it would have the entire manual in it as well as the noob-directed parts. Well… it doesn't look like that now….Anyone else order it? I'm afraid there will be a high rise in example created games by n00bs who bought it. Please… throw away the disc as soon as you get it. The Book is not directed to nooby kids, often noobs are kids without the money or the capability of buying a damn programing book, hence, the GM book is directed towards another audience, more mature than the kids that post edited examples.People, start thinking. I could quote Mark saying soemthign similar, but I'm too lazy to search Mark's posts in GMC.hmm… I guess you're right. It's directed towards adults who want to have a hobby because adults have money. N00by kids are the ones who find free registration codes…
I know someone who did that… he's a year older than me but I'm way better at GM.Ace, 25$ can actually be quite what I've been saving for months…

maybe it's a different book.Didnt mark say the book was gonna include the stuff from the next version of game maker 6.1a or whatever? with code shortcuts or whatever he called them.
yes, it has stuff from 6.1A which Mark should really release some time soon, 'cause I want my PNG alpha masks in 6.2 and 6.1a is just delaying things.
